Biography

Nicole Fisher, J.D., is a Senior Associate Counsel for the Tennessee Department of Children’s Services. Nicole was inspired to become a child welfare attorney after visiting Russian orphanages during her adolescence. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Russian and East European Studies from Florida State University, then earned her juris doctorate from the University of Alabama. Nicole began her legal career as a field attorney for DCS. Nicole left DCS for a few years to co-found a boutique family law firm focused on representing parents and children involved in child welfare actions. When she's not working, Nicole fills her time with jigsaw puzzles, pickleball, and planning her next international trip.
