Brian Keller is the General Counsel and Director of Public Policy for the Tennessee Council on Developmental Disabilities, one of the independent boards and commissions in Tennessee State Government. Brian oversees all agency compliance efforts, from sunshine to civil rights laws. Brian also oversees the agency's policy and legislative agenda.
Before joining the Council, Brian served as the Public Policy and Voting Attorney at Disability Rights Tennessee. He focused on educating policy makers on the impact proposed legislation would have on Tennesseans with disabilities. He also worked with state and county election officials to ensure the election process is accessible for all voters. He graduated from Belmont University College of Law in 2016 where he served as president of the health law society.
