Biography

Matt King serves as a legislative attorney for the Tennessee General Assembly, where he drafts proposed legislation and provides legal analysis to state legislators.  Matt has served as assistant counsel to the House Civil Justice Committee, House Consumer and Human Resources Committee, House Government Operations Committee, House Local Government Committee, and the Senate State and Local Government Committee.  Matt earned his law degree from the Belmont University College of Law, and he joined the Office of Legal Services in 2016.
