Biography

Jennifer is an experienced attorney whose practice focuses exclusively on estate and conservatorship administration and litigation. As in-house counsel for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital- ALSAC, Jennifer supervises management of the organization's portfolio of estate bequest files and directs outside counsel nationwide in the handling of estate administration and litigation. 

During her time in private practice, Jennifer administered complex and routine estates and litigated will contests, undue influence claims, and inheritance-related paternity disputes through all stages of litigation, both at the trial and appellate level. She frequently was retained by personal injury firms to assist in prosecuting personal injury and wrongful death claims on behalf of incapacitated persons and decedents' families. She represented conservators and respondents in conservatorship establishment, administration, and litigation. Jennifer also regularly served as court-appointed fiduciary, adversary counsel, and neutral investigator in estate disputes, conservatorships, and guardianships. Prior to building her probate practice, Jennifer was an ERISA attorney who designed and amended ERISA-compliant retirement plans for private organizations and governmental agencies and advised clients on regulatory compliance issues. 

Jennifer has been recognized at the local, regional, and national level, having been named "Best of the Bar" by the Memphis Business Journal, a Mid-South Rising Star in Estate Planning and Probate by Super Lawyers, and a "Top 40 Under 40 - Nation's Best Advocates" by the National Bar Association. A past president of the probate section of the Memphis Bar Association, Jennifer is a member of the 2025 TBALL class, currently serves as Vice President of the Tennessee Bar Association Young Lawyers Division, and is a board member of the Ben F. Jones Chapter of the National Bar Association, the Community Legal Center, and REACH Memphis college preparatory organization.
