A frequent speaker and writer on innovation and disruption in the legal services industry, Andy brings together the often-disparate worlds of business, law and technology. He regularly speaks at leading law and business schools, including Harvard, Stanford and Columbia. As an Entrepreneur Mentor for the University of Miami's “LawWithoutWalls” program, Andy coached the winning teams in 2014 and 2015, including the first to secure funding. He also serves as an Adjunct Member of the International Practice Committee at the New York City Bar.
He moved to the States in 2012 to establish and head-up the New York office for Riverview Law, a regulated UK law firm dubbed by many market commentators “the most innovative law firm in the world”. Within the space of five years, Riverview has grown a client base of global corporations, and garnered much attention for its disruptive approach, including a published Harvard Business School case study and numerous industry awards.
Andy is also a founding member of the executive team at Kim Technologies, and serves as its Chief Customer Officer. Kim’s Knowledge Automation Platform utilizes artificial intelligence to enable knowledge workers in any industry to automate their own processes, workflows and documents in a matter of hours, and recently won two prestigious industry awards: The ‘Innovation in Technology and Data Analytics’ award at The Financial Times Innovative Lawyers Europe Awards 2016, and ‘Most innovative client-facing technology’ at The Lawyer Business Leadership Awards 2016.
Outside of work, Andy is married to a long-suffering American girl and has two daughters who used to speak with an English accent!
