Laura Chavarria is the Director of Williamson County Animal Center, where she is responsible for 25 staff members, 250 active volunteers, and the day to day operations of the center. Her goal at the Center is to improve the animal welfare in Williamson County and to provide a welcoming, safe agency for the animals and humans of the community. Laura is a 2008 graduate of The Ohio State University, focusing her studies on Animal Sciences. Prior to attending Ohio State, Laura graduated from Van Wert High School in Ohio. Laura is a member of the Pinups for Pitbulls Rescue, National Animal Control Association, Animal Control Association of Tennessee, board member of Friends of Williamson County Animal Center, and the Society of Animal Welfare Administrators.
