Working with individuals, realtors, developers and commercial real estate companies, Dewees handles matters involving:
- Real Estate Disputes – Representing clients in litigation related to boundary disputes, construction, easements, eminent domain, land use, mechanics’ liens, title disputes, restrictive covenants, and zoning.
- Real Estate Transactions – Advising on all aspects of the development and sale of real estate properties, including matters related to construction contracts, leasing, financing and mortgages.
In addition to his real estate practice, Dewees is the General Counsel for Bass, Berry & Sims and advises firm management and individuals on legal ethics, professional responsibility and conflicts of interest.
