Biography

Ed is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of The Law StoreTM. The Law Store offers fast, face-to-face legal services in convenient Walmart locations. The Law Store provides legal help to individuals, families and small businesses without the uncertainty and expense clients often experience in traditional law firms.

Ed was also the founder of The Hershewe Law Firm, P.C., in Joplin, Missouri. He has been the first-chair trial attorney on 150+ cases and has extensive litigation experience in cases involving trucking accidents, carbon monoxide poisoning, medical malpractice, products liability, and wrongful death.

Previously, Ed served on the Board of Governors of The Missouri Bar and the Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys. He is the former President of The National Trial Attorneys and APITLAmerica. He is also a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation. He has been a speaker at many CLE programs on a wide range of topics, including, "Discovery of Electronic Data in Medical Malpractice Cases," "Opening Statements," "Deposing Experts," "Admissibility of Expert Testimony after McDonaugh," and "Wooden's Pyramid of Success." Ed was awarded the Thomas G. Strong Trial Attorney Award in 2008. As an active trial lawyer, Ed has obtained the honor of being Board Certified as a Civil Trial Advocate and as a Civil Pretrial Practice Advocate by the National Board of Trial Advocacy.

Ed is active in many community organizations. He is married to Alison Hershewe, who is also a trial attorney, and they have five children.
