Faculty Profile: Chip Hutzler

As a Partner with HMS Valuation Partners, Chip Hutzler focuses primarily on a wide variety of compensation arrangements, including provider employment agreements, medical directorships, ER call coverage services, hospital-based coverage arrangements, as well as complex value-based arrangements. He has spent the last 18 years as a healthcare valuator and compensation consultant, focused on helping clients comply with various health laws that impact them, including Stark, Anti-Kickback, False Claims Act, HIPAA, EMTALA, Medicare Conditions of Participation, IRS Regulations and state and local healthcare laws.

Chip has been a lawyer for over 30 years, has an MBA in Finance from the Wharton School, and holds the Certified Valuation Analyst credential. Chip is also a frequent speaker and author on health law and valuation topics.
