Biography

Kacy R. Joy is a senior associate in Frost Brown Todd's Nashville office, licensed in both Tennessee and Florida. She helps developers, investors and property owners go from funding to final inspection by assisting with acquisition and leasing transactions, property management relationships, and other land use and zoning matters. She further counsels her real estate clients regarding ongoing operations, assisting with both transactional and litigation matters. She also regularly represents corporate clients, focusing on the electronic payments industry, with such matters as early stage capital formation, mergers and acquisitions, and exempt securities offerings. Ms. Joy earned her law degree from Vanderbilt University Law School and graduated summa cum laude from the University of Florida with a B.S. in business administration. She is an active member of ULI Nashville and currently serves on the Young Leaders Pop Up Tours Committee and the Women’s Leadership Initiative Studio After Dark Committee.
