* Graduated from SMU w/ a BA in Government 1970

* Graduated from the Univ.of  Memphis School of Law JD 1973

* Admitted to practice in all State and Federal Courts Including The United States Supreme Court.

* Served 2 terms on the Memphis City Council (1996-2004)

* Worked for Downtowner Hotels in their Food and Beverage Dept.

* Worked for Ward Foods Restaurants Inc, a chain of Seafood restaurants

* After practicing law for 14 years returned to work at the Family business, Charlie Vergos's Rendezvous

* Started USDA approved kitchen to ship ribs nationwide.

* Became exclusive barbecue distributer in Autozone park, our Triple A baseball park.

* Became the exclusive barbecue distributor at The FedEx Forum our, NBA arena.

* Have catered parties in Australia, Singapore, Montreal, Dominican Republic, South Beach Wine and Food Festival, Natl' Fish and Wildlife Federation in Central

* Married to Ellen for 35 years, who is also a lawyer - 3 children and 3 grandchildren
