Biography

John Morris is both a practicing attorney as well as a recognized expert in the area of digital forensics.  In both capacities, he has assisted clients and other attorneys in numerous cases, both civil and criminal, involving digital evidence including cell phones, cellular call detail records, computers, video footage, audio recordings and other related digital evidence.  He has been recognized as an expert in both state and federal courts in multiple states and has testified in numerous hearings and trials.  Prior to his current career, Mr. Morris spent over 15 years at Microsoft in numerous roles, including executive director of Microsoft’s east region cloud services practice.  At Microsoft, Mr. Morris was the eDiscovery lead for his team and more recently, he has co-taught the eDiscovery course at the Nashville School of Law.
