Biography

Sean P. Muldoon, LCSW, is the Clinical Services Manager at Operation Stand Down Tennessee providing clinical supervision of the agency’s Transitional Housing Program for Homeless Veterans (7 houses/42 Veterans) and coordination of the agency’s Clinical Internships.   With 37 years’ experience as a social worker, he has worked with adolescents, adults, couples and family on issues including substance abuse, mental health, homelessness, housing, and HIV /AIDS. Sean has served in a variety of direct service, supervisory and administrative roles in community-based, non-profit and private, for profit organizations. Sean enjoys the role of educator, has been an adjunct professor in social work at Belmont University and provided several professional and community trainings. Throughout his career he has participated in a number of community planning / advocacy bodies addressing concerns with Veterans, homelessness, HIV, TennCare and addiction. He is currently the Chair of the Governance Committee for the Nashville-Davidson County Homelessness Continuum of Care, member of the Nashville Regional HIV Planning Council and chair of its Priority Setting and Resource Allocation Committee, and Chair of the Diocese of Nashville’s Review Board.
