Bill began his claims career in 1988, and chose to focus his career on providing claims services for large corporate risks. He transitioned to leading the corporate risk management department for Gaylord Entertainment Company for 10+ years and was responsible for developing, implementing and directing the administration of the centralized risk management program, which included a large risk retention for tort liability losses, for the property portfolio. Also during his tenure, they completed three OCIP projects totaling over 6,500,000 square feet and managed significant coastal and inland natural catastrophe losses, including the Opryland Hotel flood.
Bill is currently serving as SVP, Corporate Risk & Broking, at Willis Towers Watson. In this role, Bill partners with both public and private companies to collaborate and engage in their risk management programs with his experienced specialization in formulation, design and execution of both traditional and complex risk solutions including claims management and risk control.
