Dean Adams is Director of Business & Legal Affairs, Publishing, at Concord. As in-house counsel, Dean negotiates U.S. publishing agreements and advises Concord on a wide range of legal issues, including statutory copyright terminations. Dean’s research on passive royalty grants and statutory terminations was published in the Journal of the Copyright Society of the USA. Prior to Concord, Dean was an associate at Copyright Cafe PLLC where he advised clients on a variety of entertainment and intellectual property matters. Dean is a 2020 graduate of Belmont University College of Law, magna cum laude, where he served as editor-in-chief of the Belmont Law Review and clerked for Chief Justice Jeffrey S. Bivins of the Tennessee Supreme Court.
