Faculty Profile: JAMES DUNCAN

Brian Duncan is a partner with the law firm of Cunningham Bounds in Mobile, Alabama. Brian completed his undergraduate studies at Texas Tech University.  He then graduated from Cumberland School of Law, cum laude, in 2008. During law school he was a member of the Cumberland Law Review and National Trial Team. 

Over the last fourteen years Brian has recovered tens-of-millions for his clients in a wide-range of cases involving business fraud, personal injuries, wrongful death, industrial accidents, defective products, trucking accidents, and other cases of serious wrongdoing.  Brian has developed a particular expertise representing clients who suffered injury due to medical negligence. 

Brian’s results speak for themselves and have earned him continued recognition by his peers and legal organizations. Brian is a Fellow in International Society of Barristers and the Litigation Counsel of America. He is listed in Best Lawyers in America® and Super Lawyers.  He is also rated AV Preeminent®  by Martindale-Hubbell. Brian is a member of the Mobile Bar Association, South Alabama Trial Lawyers Association, Alabama Association for Justice, Texas Trial Lawyers Association, and the American Association for Justice. Brian previously served on the Board of Governors of the American Association for Justice. Brian is licensed to practice law in Alabama and Texas.
