Biography

Keith Uselton is a dedicated supporter of the entrepreneurial spirit. He joined the company as a senior accountant in 1989 and became a principal in 1994. His areas of expertise are estate planning, corporate tax returns, business valuations, real estate development and financial planning. He received a Bachelor of Science in accounting from David Lipscomb University in 1984, and became a CPA in 1987. Keith is also a Certified Business Valuator, through the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Keith was chosen in 1995 as a delegate to the White House Conference of Small Business in Washington, DC, where he worked on tax, community development and capital formation committees. In 1997, the Junior Chamber of Commerce (Jaycees) chose Keith as one of their five Outstanding Young Tennesseans. Keith has served on various committees throughout his professional affiliation in the Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountant. He currently serves as a reviewer of professional articles for the TSCPA, and has written articles for the Memphis Business Journal. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and serves on the advisory board for Better Health for Kids in Nashville.

When not working, Keith loves spending time with his family. He and Penelope have two grown daughters and two grandchildren. They also enjoy camping — he loves taking off on a road trip with their Airstream in tow. As for music, he enjoys various genres, but country is his favorite these days. “It connects me to my roots growing up on a farm.” He claims the movie “Oh Brother Where Art Thou?” almost made him a “Dapper Dan Man.”
