Biography

Elaina Al-Nimri is an associate in the Litigation & Dispute Resolution Practice Group at Bass, Berry & Sims. She focuses her practice on complex business litigation, including disputes involving securities laws and consumer finance laws. Elaina represents clients in a variety of industries, including healthcare, financial services, technology and education.  
Elaina's practice includes:
- Business Disputes - Representing clients in multi-million dollar disputes for breach of contract, fraud, misrepresentation, breach of fiduciary duty and other business torts.
- Securities & Shareholder Litigation - Litigating disputes arising from alleged violations of federal and state securities laws, including shareholder derivative suits and securities fraud matters.
- Consumer Financial Services - Counseling and defending clients in matters arising under federal statutes such as the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) and state consumer protection acts.
Elaina earned her law degree from Emory University School of Law.  During law school, Elaina interned with the Federal Trade Commission's Bureau of Consumer Protection in Atlanta, Georgia. She received a B.A. in economics and global studies from Providence College.
