Biography

Stacy Braverman Cloyd is NOSSCR’s Director of Policy and Administrative Advocacy, where she engages with NOSSCR members, legislative and executive branch staff; analyzes data for and helps draft NOSSCR’s written materials; moderates conference general sessions, and manages PAC contributions from NOSSCR members.

Stacy is a fellow of the National Academy of Social Insurance and has spoken at National Disability Forums and on panels organized by the Social Security Advisory Board. Before coming to NOSSCR, she was a public benefits attorney at Bread for the City legal clinic in Washington DC, where she represented Social Security claimants and beneficiaries at all stages of appeals.

Stacy lives in the Southwest Waterfront neighborhood of Washington, DC. She has two cats, enjoys hiking and volunteering, and was a one-day Jeopardy champion in 2010.
