Faculty Profile: Mary O'Mara

Employed by a national insurance company for over 30 years with concentration in employment and labor law, including class actions. Served as chief counsel with responsibility for merger oversight, legal entity consolidation, corporate contracts, insurance law and regulatory matters.

Instrumental in developing, implementing and managing a national insurance company's employment dispute resolution program, including representing the company at all mediations and managing all arbitrations.

Specialties: Member of the Roster of Neutrals for the American Arbitration Association from 2014-Present. Also, a Rule 31 Mediator in Tennessee and a charter member of the Tennessee Association of Professional Mediators. Member of the Nashville Bar Association, the American Bar Association and a member of the Tennessee Bar Association Dispute Resolution Section Executive Council. Serve as arbitrator for FINRA from 2015-Present and the Better Business Bureau of Middle Tennessee 2001- Present.
