Biography

 

Arthur E. Quinn has practiced criminal defense in the Shelby County area for 38 years. He has served for 3 years as an assistant Shelby County public defender and he has served as the city prosecutor for the city of Millington, Tennessee. He is a past president of the Memphis Bar Association, past president of the University of Memphis School of Law National Alumni Association, past president of the Memphis Area Special Olympics Executive Committee, he was the recipient of 2008 Criminal Justice Act Panel Attorney Award for distinguished service for the Western District of Tennessee, and he was the recipient of the 2010 Pro Bono Project Award for Memphis Area Legal Services; he has been named a Super Lawyer in the field of criminal defense in 2007, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, and 2015, and Martindale-Hubbell rates him as AV Preeminent.
