Biography

Amy has served the City of Franklin, TN for the last eight years, most recently as Current Planning Supervisor for the Planning and Sustainability Department. Her planning experience has spanned across various levels of civic and institutional sectors. She previously served as Staff Architect for the College of Charleston in Charleston, South Carolina, as a Space Planner for the Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC) at Naval Station Great Lakes, Illinois, and as a Planner I for Nashville, Tennessee. In Franklin, Amy and her team provide expertise and technical assistance in the review of development applications ranging from Annexations, Rezoning’s, Development Plans, Site Plans, and Final Plats, among others. Her division also administers performance agreements and sureties related to development-specific public infrastructure. Amy sees her current role as one who helps implement established policies and principles in order to enhance the quality of life for those who work, visit, and live in Franklin. She is happy to call herself a resident of Franklin who enjoys nothing more than serving her community every day.
