Biography

Dave Shearon focuses on improving the performance of our legal system by helping lawyers better meet the five unique challenges to lawyer thriving. Dave gets top evaluations as a speaker and trainer. He also works with law schools to help students thrive despite the unique their introduction to the five challenges. Dave will deliver a 4-week, 2 credit-hour course on thriving for students at the Radzyner School of Law, Interdisciplinary Center, Herzliya, Israel.

Dave has served as the Executive Director of the Tennessee Commission on Continuing Legal Education and Specialization since 1987. He also directs the Tennessee Lawyers Fund for Client Protection. He received his Masters in Applied Positive Psychology (MAPP) from the University of Pennsylvania in 2006, his JD from the University of Virginia in 1979, and his BS from the University of Tennessee in 1976.
