Nicholas Zuba is the Deputy Director of C-PACE Alliance. Nicholas is an energy efficiency and environmental policy professional with over a decade of experience in environmental sustainability, in both the public and private sectors, specializing in deploying Property Assessed Clean Energy (PACE) financing for property owners to make energy-saving improvements. As Deputy Director of the C-PACE Alliance, Nicholas’s duties include expanding the organization’s membership; managing a portfolio of policy and programmatic initiatives for CPA members; arranging educational content; and helping to solidify CPA’s long-term value to its members.
Prior to joining C-PACE Alliance, Nicholas served as Director of PACE Policy and Programs at CleanFund Commercial PACE Capital. His duties included supplying CleanFund’s team with programmatic information and working collaboratively with industry counterparts to improve new and existing C-PACE programs across the country. He previously managed and administered the Connecticut Green Bank’s C-PACE Program for nearly six years. He also constructed projects to provide financing for energy-saving improvements in commercial and industrial properties. Earlier, Nicholas worked for Town of Babylon Government in Long Island, NY, where he became an administrator of the town’s Long Island Green Homes Program, one of the first operational residential PACE programs in the country.
Nicholas graduated from the Jeb E. Brooks School of Public Policy at Cornell University with his Master of Public Administration degree. He also graduated from Ithaca College summa cum laude with a B.A. in Political Science.
