Donna Simpson is a solo practitioner with an office in Cookeville, Tennessee. A 1978 graduate of the University of Tennessee Law School, after two years practicing with Rural Legal Services of Tennessee, Ms. Simpson has been in private practice for 38 years with a primary focus in Social Security disability cases. She represents disabled claimants at the administrative level and the federal court level. She has provided continuing legal education sessions on both Security Security disability and ethics. Ms. Simpson is a current member and past chair of the Social Security Section of the Tennessee Bar Association, chair of the Social Security Section of the American Association for Justice, sustaining member of the National Social Security Claimants' Representatives, a fellow of the Tennessee Bar Foundation and American Bar Association, and a former board member of the State of Tennessee Board of Professional Responsibility.
