Harry Ray has over 35 years experience in the practice of federal and state franchise law, antitrust law, trademark and copyright law, general corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, commercial leasing, employment law, tax law and estate planning. He has guided franchisors and franchisees through the complexities of federal and state franchise law.
Over the years, Harry assisted in the formation of several start-up franchisors as well as maintaining existing franchise systems. He has also reviewed and negotiated numerous franchise documents on behalf of franchises. He frequently advises franchisors and franchisees regarding the termination of the franchise arrangement. He has worked with co-counsel in several disputes involving franchise law.
Harry also works in the closely-related area of buying and marketing groups. He recently was a speaker on that topic to an association of franchisees, many of which have buying group organizations to enable them to purchase more efficiently.
