Biography

Ashley Propst is a Wealth Advisor for Truist Financial Corporation. She offers clients more than 25 years of comprehensive wealth management experience, with a team approach that brings together specialists in investments, trusts, business transition, financial planning, credit, risk management, and estate strategies. Her practice focuses on business owners and multi-generational families. 

Ashley holds herself accountable to recommend strategies with the client's needs and goals in mind. These strategies are supported not only by deep experience from a team of specialists, but also highly attentive service and coordination of resources. Ashley takes time to get to know her clients and their families to gain an understanding of the critical aspects of their financial life so that she can assess the interaction of multiple objectives and the far-reaching implication that can have on each other. 

Ashley serves on the Belle Meade Historic Site and the Belle Meade Winery Board, The Nashville Ballet Board, and as Chair of The Housing Fund Board for Middle TN. She also serves on the Institutional Advancement Committee for TPAC, is a member of the Trustee's Council for the Land Trust of TN, and is a member of the United Way Toqueville Society. Ashley served on the Sexual Assault Center Board from 2014-2017, has also volunteered with Rock the Street Wall Street, and is co-founder of the SunTrust Women's Council in Nashville.

Ashley is a native of Hickory, NC, but has called Nashville home since 2009. Ashley received a B.A. in Political Science from the University of NC at Chapel Hill, a Juris Doctor from the NCCU School of Law, and a Master of Laws in Taxation from the University of Denver School of Law. Ashley was a Truist Performance Award recipient in 2021 and represents Truist Wealth in its #TrueAdvisor national campaign for 2022. She is also a graduate of the ABA Graduate Trust School and the BB&T Leadership Development Program.
