Shauna Walsh is currently an Assistant Director of International Student and Scholar Services at Belmont University where she is part of a one-person office managing international students and scholars and intercultural programming efforts on campus. She has been in the field of international education for 15 years and her previous positions include immigration advising and programming for international students and scholars at the University of Colorado, The Ohio State University, and Franklin University. She is a member of NAFSA Trainer Corps, currently serves as the NAFSA Academy Coach for Region I, and has presented on numerous topics at NAFSA including J-1 immigration restrictions, programming on a shoestring budget, and balancing responsibilities between scholars and departments. She has received her MA in Student Affairs in Higher Education from the Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
