Faculty Profile: Jared Brasel

Supervisory Detention and Deportation Officer (SDDO) Jared Brasel began his career in 2004 with U.S. Customs and Border Protection at the port of Tampa, FL. In July of 2007, he was selected as an Immigration Enforcement Agent with ICE/ERO in Nashville, TN. In 2008, he was promoted to Deportation Officer where he was assigned to the Criminal Apprehension Program, Field Operations, Non-detained case management, and the Alternative to Detention Programs. In 2017, he was promoted to supervisor overseeing an inclusive portfolio of Enforcement and Removal Operations programs. Currently, he supervises enforcement efforts that focus on those who represent a threat to national security or public safety.
