Biography

As the Urban Forester for the City of Knoxville, Tennessee, Mr. Krouse is responsible for the expansion, protection, and maintenance of the City’s urban forest and implementing the City’s Urban Forest Master Plan. Prior to joining the City of Knoxville in 2012, Mr. Krouse worked as a project manager and consultant for Davey Resource Group. Mr. Krouse is a Board Certified Master Arborist, Qualified Tree Risk Assessor and Municipal Specialist (IN-3243B) with the International Society of Arboriculture. He has a BS in Forestry from Purdue University. He resides in The Fountain City, Tennessee with his wife Beth; his two daughters, Eleanor and Amelia; and his nine chickens.
