Education: B.A., Rutgers University, 1969; J.D., University of Memphis, 1974.
Affiliations: American Bar Association, American Immigration Lawyers Association, Tennessee Bar Association and Memphis Bar Association.
Admissions: U.S. Supreme Court, 1979. Tennessee Supreme Court, 1974. U.S. Court of Appeals, Sixth (1983) and Eighth (1980) Circuits, U.S. Court of International Trade 1974.
Honors: Repeatedly honored in SuperLawyers" and "Best Lawyers in America" for his work in Immigration and Consumer law. In 2007 he was selected as one of the "150 best Lawyers in Tennessee" by Business Tennessee magazine for his work in Immigration law. On two occasions he served on the Memphis Bar Association's Board of Directors. He is a frequent lecturer to attorneys, prosecutors, public defenders, paralegals, Tennessee General Sessions judges, Tennessee Juvenile Courts, and National Association of Women Judges Conference, on the subjects of Immigration and Deportation law, as well as guest lecturing to the Federal, Memphis, Tennessee Bar Associations and the American Immigration Lawyers Association.
