Faculty Profile: Johnathan Rudy

Johnathan Rudy is the Assistant General Counsel for Cybersecurity at GEICO, advising on legal issues at the intersection of law and technology. He focuses on cybersecurity, data protection, and regulatory compliance. Before joining GEICO, he was Senior Counsel at TransUnion for Cybersecurity, and served for over a decade as an active-duty U.S. Marine Corps Judge Advocate. He continues to serve as the Reserve Staff Judge Advocate for Marine Corps Forces Cyberspace Command. Johnathan holds a J.D. from Case Western Reserve University, an LL.M. in Intelligence and Cyber Law, and a B.A. in Political Science from Baldwin Wallace College.
