Faculty Profile: Josh Suddath

Josh Suddath is the executive director of the UT Center for Local Planning, where he leads a statewide team providing technical assistance related to growth and development to communities across the state. Previously he served as director of planning and engineering for Sumner County, Tennessee, and as an assistant town administrator for Collierville. Josh is a veteran of the United States Marine Corps (1999-2004) and is a native West Tennessean. He holds a bachelor’s degree in history and a master’s in public administration from East Tennessee State University. Josh lives in Sumner County with his wife Rachel and two daughters, Olivia and Callie.
