Biography

As the VP, Corporate Underwriting, Director of Underwriting – Fraud Risk, Sarah is passionate about fraud detection and prevention. Sarah is the chairman of First American Enterprise Fraud Council which unifies fraud prevention initiatives across corporate divisional lines and is a member of the Fraud Prevention Practice Group. She also serves as Corporate Sponsor of the Underwriting Fraud Prevention Practice Group and the litigation committee for the California Land Title Association.

A seasoned veteran of the title insurance industry, Sarah previously served as Senior Claims Counsel and the Southwest Regional Claims Manager in Scottsdale, Arizona handling claims for ten years. Sarah also spent six years in private practice in California and Arizona before joining First American in 2009. She holds a Juris Doctorate from Chicago-Kent College of Law, Illinois Institute of Technology, and a political science degree from the University of Evansville.
