Biography

ROBERT M. BRANNON, JR. was admitted to the Tennessee bar in 1974. Prior to entering private practice he served in the USAF JAG office. Upon completion of military service he entered private practice with an emphasis in the field of DUI trial defense. He has given seminar presentations on behalf of the Memphis Bar Association, the Tennessee Bar Association, the Tennessee Trial Lawyer's Association, the Tennessee Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and the National Bar Association, Ben F. Jones Chapter. He has been the past president of the Memphis Trial Lawyer's Association and is active in the Memphis Bar Association, the Tennessee Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. Also, he was elected as Germantown Municipal Judge in 1998 and has served continuously since that time. As part-time Municipal Judge, he has jurisdiction over all criminal matters occurring in the City of Germantown, Tennessee.
