Biography

Honorable Thomas H. Fulton was appointed United States Bankruptcy Judge for the Western District of Kentucky on December 6, 2002. Judge Fulton graduated with special distinction from Mississippi State University. After graduating from college, Judge Fulton served as a Minuteman II Missile Launch Commander at Malmstrom Air Force Base in Montana. Once he climbed out of that hole, he attended Columbia University as a President’s Fellow where he earned his M.A. and M.Phil. degrees in political theory. He was a visiting lecturer at Loyola University in New Orleans and later taught political theory as an adjunct at the University of Memphis. Judge Fulton graduated from Tulane University Law School. Prior to his appointment to the bench, Judge Fulton was in private practice with the law firm of Humphreys, Dunlap, Wellford, Acuff & Stanton in Memphis, Tennessee.
