Robyn Jarvis Askew is a shareholder in the firm’s Knoxville office. Her practice centers on commercial law with an emphasis on commercial real estate, finance and business transactions. In addition, Ms. Askew represents physicians, nurses and other medical professionals before state licensing boards.
Ms. Askew worked as a real estate developer for more than ten years and has extensive experience with national retailers. Her developed properties include Walgreen’s retail facilities in Virginia, Kentucky, Tennessee and Mississippi.
Ms. Askew served on the Tennessee Housing Development Agency, and chaired THDA’s Grants Committee. She also chaired Knoxville’s Central Business Improvement District. She is immediate past chair of the board of the Knoxville Chamber. She is a past member and chair of the City of Knoxville’s Police Advisory Review Committee, and has served on numerous other boards including the Alzheimer’s Association and the Episcopal School of Knoxville. She is a member and past president of the Executive Women’s Association of Knoxville. As a member of the Knoxville Bar Association, she served two terms on its Board of Governors.
