Biography

For 25 years Dean Greer has focused his practice on the areas of Financial Rehabilitation and/or Bankruptcy for consumers and businesses.  To enhance his skills, in December 1995 he became the regions first and still only Certified Consumer Bankruptcy Law Specialist.  Dean Greer has been involved in more Federal Bankruptcy proceedings than any other attorney in this region.  He handles all types of case, but his specialty is complex and difficult cases.
 
Dean Greer is a native of Kingsport, Tennessee.  He graduated from King College, Bristol, TN in 1979 summa cum laude with a B.A. in Economics and Business Administration.  He attained a Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from Washington & Lee University School of Law, Lexington, Virginia, in May 1982.  After practicing briefly in Mountain City, TN, Dean Greer opened his Law Office in January 1984.  For many years Mr. Greer engaged in a general practice. As a result, Mr. Greer has a wide range of experience in many other areas of the law.  Mr. Greer was awarded his Certification as a Consumer Bankruptcy Law Specialist by the American Board of Certification.  He is a member of the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys, American Bankruptcy Institute, Tennessee Bar Association, Kingsport Bar Association, and the National Organization of Social Security Representatives.
