Faculty Profile: Stephen Lusk

Mr. Lusk is the Assistant Director of Compliance, State of Tennessee Real Estate Asset Management (STREAM).  STREAM is dedicated to operating, managing and maintaining the State’s many diverse real estate assets.  As Assistant Director of Compliance, Mr. Lusk is responsible for management and providing legal compliance counsel for the acquisition, disposal, and leasing processes which STREAM and the Department of General Services provide for the State.  Mr. Lusk received his Bachelor of Science in Business Management at Carson Newman College, and his Juris Doctor degree at The University of Tennessee, Knoxville.  Mr. Lusk has spent much of his professional career in East Tennessee in private practice with a focus on real estate and transactional law, and for the 5 years was Counsel with the FDIC, Division of Resolutions and Receiverships (Liquidation) in Knoxville and Jacksonville, working on bank closings, commercial litigation and real estate transaction matters throughout the country.
