Biography

Mr. Williamson concentrates his practice in Creditors' Rights, Bankruptcy, Family Law and Mediation. He received his B.A. from the University at Albany and graduated from Vanderbilt University School of Law. He has practiced for 30 years, representing banks, credit unions, and other creditor clients in State Court and Federal Bankruptcy proceedings, as well as representing individuals in Family Law matters, including contested divorce and custody proceedings. He is certified as a Creditors' Rights Specialist by the Tennessee Commission on Continuing Legal Education and Specialization. He is also listed as a Tennessee Supreme Court Rule 31 Mediator in the field of General Civil and Family Mediation and has taken advanced mediation training for cases involving domestic violence. He served as Director of the Mid-South Commercial Law Institute from 2006 to 2011. He is a member of the Better Business Bureau, Chamber of Commerce, Tennessee Bar Association, and the Montgomerty County Bar Association. He lectures frequently on bankruptcy, family law, and mediation issues. His office is located at 114 Franklin Street, Clarksville, Tennessee.
