Description: In this session, I will be discussing the new Tennessee E-Verify law, which went into effect for most employers on January 1, 2013. It is an unusual law which gives employer an option on whether to utilize E-Verify. If a company opts not to utilize E-Verify, it requires an employer to take an additional action beyond current law. We will also be discussing the basics of E-Verify and various recommended immigration compliance actions.
