Description:

This session will address several angles practicing as a Guardian ad Litem. We will discuss the responsibilities and how to manage parent's counsel. Practice tips will help you develop relationships with your child-client and managing third parties - DCS, CASA, and Psychologists. This session will also review the general rules of being a GAL in Juvenile vs. Circuit Cases.

I was curious if I wanted to do GAL work, or if it was too complicated or just not something I want to do. The presentation has convinced me this is a very worthwhile part of the law.
