This program will examine the differences between traditional conservatorship proceedings and Tennessee's newer emergency conservatorship statutes, including expedited limited healthcare fiduciary actions. Topics will include filing requirements, procedural differences, and tips for handling contested matters. Finally, the program will address options for transitioning an emergency conservatorship to a traditional conservatorship.

I have never done an emergency conservatorship, so this presentation definitely helped outline when that type of conservatorship, versus a regular conservatorship, is more applicable. I have also never had a contested conservatorship, so the information on the attorney ad litem was helpful.

I was familiar with traditional and emergency conservatorships but not the ELHF.
