Justice Program 2017: Lawyer Advertising, Bates at 40

Description:

It's been 40 years since the US Supreme Court held that states could regulate, but not ban, lawyer advertising. And while ethics rules continue to regulate lawyer advertising of all kinds, some question whether the rules are enforced or enforceable in today's electronic world. During this session, Penny White will evaluate the current rules, their enforceability, and the resulting impact on the legal profession.
