This presentation will introduce the concepts of medical staff bylaws, credentialing, and the peer review and quality improvement privileges. The increasing trend toward employment of physicians, and the role of corporate practice of medicine restrictions and non-compete provisions will be discussed.  For newer health law practitioners, this program provides a general health law overview and discussion of hot topics by experienced healthcare leaders.
