Construction Law

Construction Law: General Contractor Perspective

This session will focus on the practical issues that relate to the general/prime contractor on a project.  The speakers include Attorney David Taylor and Industry Representative Glynn Dowdle from the Dowdle Construction Group. They will discuss dealing with the Owner, Architect/engineer and sometimes the Lender. Most of the focus will be on how a general contractor coordinates and deals with the multiple subcontractors on the project.

Great presentation. Entertaining, interesting and informative.

The discussion on general and sub-contractor insurance was very helpful; I have a case now with similar insurance issues, and this course was extremely timely, and may prompt me to take the (personally rare) step of contacting the presenter to ask for a few minutes of his time.

Great having a contractor as part of the panel.
