Juvenile and Children's Law 2020 - 2 Dual - Homeboy

Description:

Join the Juvenile and Children's Law section for a 2 hour session. Jawara Griffin will use his personal story to reach persons who are working with and providing services to the youth especially youth who are a part of the child welfare system. This session will provide an inside perspective of what youth are dealing with as they transition through the system. Jawara will also attempt to impress upon attendees the need and importance for mentorship and to encourage them to continue to do the great work that they are doing. Equip yourself with the tools needed to motivate any youth, assuring them that if they continue the fight they will have whatever success they envision for themselves while encouraging them and reiterating that their DNA does not dictate your destiny.
