This course will provide information and insight on how to accomplish these goals. Starting with an overview of the alcohol permitting landscape in TN, this course will cover the permitting process, what information is needed, a realistic timeline for obtaining permits and projected cost.

The second half of the course will cover maintenance requirements for alcohol permits including common issues that arise including ownership changes, location changes, additions and site plan changes.

Finally, we will conclude with a short discussion of legal pitfalls surrounding alcohol permits including rules surrounding advertising and sampling, discounts or sales, and ID checking. At the end of the course the practitioner will leave with an understanding of the alcohol permitting process in TN and what to expect when navigating the alcohol permitting process.

Brand new topic for me. Rachel gave a high energy, informative presentation. Very much enjoyed the insight into Nashville quirk and tie-in between regulation and current COVID events.

I am so thankful that this presentation gave very concrete direction. It is something that you can immediately use and not just a broad "You need a permit..." type approach.

The presentation was sufficiently detailed that I feel like I could counsel a client through the process with only a little more research, and Ms. Schaffer indicated very well where such further knowledge could be found.
