We agreed on a number. So why did the settlement still blow up? Produced by the Dispute Resolution Section, this roundtable style CLE session offers attendees an opportunity to interactively converse about non-monetary issues that mediators still must address in employment disputes. We’ve probably all been a part of a mediation where we thought we’d reached settlement. And yet three hours later we are still haggling over various parts of the settlement agreement. What are those blockers and how can the mediator and the parties be prepared to handle them?
This program will take place on a Zoom meeting, and we encourage all participants to keep their cameras on. The Zoom meeting will allow attendees the opportunity to exchange ideas and thoughts with the speakers and other attendees in a safe, virtual setting.
