Dispute Resolution

Advanced Issues in Arbitration Law (CME)

Description:

Arbitration of commercial and employment disputes continues to increase, and while arbitration is intended to be a less formal and more efficient process than litigation, it is fraught with challenges for the unwary advocate. This program provides a roadmap for some of the most frequent questions that arise, including discovery issues, subpoenas, interim relief, dispositive motions, evidentiary standards, and post-award disputes. Particular emphasis will be placed on the rules of the American Arbitration Association.
